We
need your help in the search for a cure.
AIDS
Research Alliance raises most of its budget through private
contributions. With your help, we can continue to make research
advances against HIV/AIDS. Please write a check, use your
credit card, or pledge a monthly amount to make a tax-deductible
contribution, knowing that you are a part of a caring community
united in helping everyone everywhere living with HIV/AIDS.
To
make a contribution to support the critical work of ARA, hit
the "Donate Now" button below, and a window will
open containing a form for you to fill out. When you have
finished filling out the form, you can hit "submit"
and close the window, and this page will remain open. You
will then be able to continue navigating our website from
here, should you so desire.

Your
donation will be secured using Groundsprings, a non-profit
agency that coordinates payments and other aspects of fundraising
for organizations like ARA.

AIDS
Research Alliance Featured Donor
Richard Gere
We
would like to thank Richard Gere for over a decade
of generous support to AIDS Research Alliance. He has been
a committed and tireless supporter of HIV/AIDS research, as
well as countless other humanitarian, health and social efforts.
He established the Initiatives Foundation in 2002 to
raise funds and funnel resources to disadvantaged communities
worldwide, and hosted the 1992 United Nations World AIDS
Day event. We are proud to be among the organizations
benefiting from his dedication and generosity.

Further
Giving Information
We can also accept donations of stocks, bonds and other securities.
By donating stocks that have risen in value since you purchased
them, you get the full tax deduction of their current value,
while avoiding the capital gains taxes you would pay if they
were sold. For more information about this type of giving,
please contact us at 310.358.2423.
Workplace
giving/Combined Federal Campaign
(CFC Designation #1704):
All
employees of the Federal Government are eligible to participate
in the Combined Federal Campaign. This workplace fundraising
program enables federal employees to contribute to the charitable
organization of their choice, such as ARA, through a payroll
deduction program. ARA participates in the CFC as a member
of the Medical Research Charities (MRC); our designation number
is #1704.
Are
you a state or city employee?
States and countries often maintain their own payroll
deduction fundraising programs. Eligibility rules for organizations
differ from state to state. Check to see if ARA is listed
in your campaign.
Does
your company have a workplace giving program?
Many U.S. companies facilitate charitable giving
through workplace fundraising programs. You may be able to
support ARA through your company's matching or payroll deduction
program.
