Clinical
Research Coordinator
AIDS
ReSearch Alliance (ARA) is a West Hollywood-based non-profit
medical research organization conducting a wide range of clinical
trials and research for the treatment of HIV/AIDS. (To read
more about ARA, click here.) ARA is seeking a full-time Clinical
Research coordinator in its West Hollywood office. This position
requires work in three different areas: Clinic/IRB management,
Clinical Research, and assisting the Director of Clinical
Research. ARA provides a friendly working environment with
a dedicated staff.
Specific
duties include:
• Assist the Director of Clinical Research in day-to-day
activities, assist in compiling study reports, calendar and
assist in timely completion of Investigational New Drug applications
• Obtain informed consent for all research volunteers
per regulatory guidelines
• Notify IRB of all serious adverse events
• Complete and maintain Case Report Forms
• Maintain regulatory binders for all clinical trials
• Assist in writing Protocols and Informed Consents for
clinical trials sponsored by ARA
Qualifications:
• Registered Nurses License, Physician’s Asst.,
Nurse Practitioner or equivalent required
• Clinical Research Coordinator Certification preferred
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required
• Excellent knowledge of Federal Code of Regulations
• Excellent knowledge of Good Clinical Practices (GCPs)
• Excellent writing skills required
• Three years experience as clinical research coordinator
preferred
• Strong computer skills and experience working with
MS Word, Excel, and the internet
