There’s a new, delicious way to support AIDS Research Alliance!
Truck It Fest—a gathering of gourmet food trucks, talented artists and local bands—is a brand new event that will take place on the first Sunday of every month at Union Station in downtown Los Angeles, beginning Sunday, March 6th from 11:00 am – 5:00 pm.
As the official charity of Truck It Fest, AIDS Research Alliance will be given a free display booth at every Truck It Fest, in addition to other logistic support, visibility and perks. Carolyn Carlburg, President & CEO of AIDS Research Alliance said, “We are very grateful to Truck It Fest for this generous support of our work, and together, we hope to raise $10,000 in 2011 specifically for laboratory research and supplies.
Truck It Fest is the brainchild of Dodger Stadium flea market veteran, Phillip Dane, who wants to support AIDS Research Alliance’s search for a cure, while offering a delicious way to support our research. Occurring both inside and outside of Union Station on the first Sunday of every month from 11:00 am – 5:00 pm, Truck It Fest will feature gourmet food trucks from Border Grill, Komodo, Crepes Bonaparte, Slammin’ Sliders, Canter’s Deli and Mondoline Grill, among many, many others. In addition to local artists, live music, and children’s entertainment, a special VIP pass includes valet parking, a private lounge, and table service to bring your favorite foods to you.
Please support AIDS Research Alliance by attending Truck It Fest. General admission is $5, VIP tickets are $45, and kids under 12 are free. Metro riders can get $1.00 off. Visit our booth at Truck It Fest on Sunday, March 6th or Sunday, April 3rd. For more information and tickets, visit www.truckitfest.com or call 866-966-9495.
