Center for of Business Intelligence Donates
Two Scholarships Towards Prostratin Project

The Center for Business Intelligence, a leading provider of advanced education services for pharmaceutical industry researchers and executives, has donated a scholarship for ARA to attend two conferences: "Predicting Drug Metabolism" and "Predicting Drug Toxicology." Dr. Stephen Brown attended these conferences in an effort to better direct ARA’s preclinical programs for prostratin.

The conferences are attended by major research personnel in the pharmaceutical industry and discuss advanced techniques for predicting drug metabolism and toxicology of chemical entities for drug development. The information gleaned during the conference and contacts made there will be valuable in streamlining ARAs drug development efforts. ARA would like to thank the Center for Business Intelligence for their generous donation of these two scholarships.

Stephen J. Brown, M.D., ARA’s Director of Clinical Research, shakes hands with Johanna Bloom, Division Manager of Pharmaceuticals at the Center for Business Intelligence, at CBI’s February "Predicting Drug Metabolism" conference in Philadelphia. Johanna was instrumental in facilitating CBI’s scholarship donation to ARA.
