Over 1,000,000 Americans are living with HIV/AIDS right now. Today, about 5,500 people will die of AIDS worldwide. Young women—many with children—account for almost a third of all new infections in the United States.

The only way to end AIDS is to invest in medical research. Today’s treatments—which AIDS Research Alliance helped to develop—keep many people alive, but they do not cure AIDS. For every two people who begin treatment, among four become infected. We must find a vaccine and cure—and you can help!
